Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann advised that on Sunday August 22, 2021 at around 12:00 AM, Cass County dispatch received a 911 from the 17000 block of Webster Blvd Plattsmouth Nebraska. The caller advised they thought someone was having a verbal argument with someone. A Sheriff's Deputy responded to the area; after a search of the area the Deputy observed an open door near the Shell gas station on Webster Blvd. The Deputy along with Plattsmouth Police Department searched the building, it appeared that building had been opened by force and a motorcycle had been taken out of the shop and left in the front of the building. As law enforcement was processing the scene, an additional call came out that a man matching the description was laying in the grass near Beacon Dr. The Deputy searched the area and located the individual.  The man was identified as Brett Cole 39 year old of Bellevue. Cole was taken into custody without incident. Cole was placed into Cass County Corrections and charged for Burglary, Criminal Mischief, Trespassing and False Reporting.
