Cass County Sheriff, Robert Sorenson advised that on April 2, 2023 at 3:57 p.m., Cass County Sheriff's Deputies along with Murray Fire and Rescue were called to highway 75 and Hobscheidt Road for a two vehicle injury accident . It was learned that a white 1999 Chevy Van driven by Marcelino Pablo Sebatian (38yoa) of Omaha was northbound on highway 75 when he realized he missed a turn and pulled over to the shoulder to make a u-turn. The driver of the white van made his u-turn to drive south on highway 75 pulling out in front of a silver Kia Soul driven by Guillermina Ramos (54yoa) of Omaha, who was traveling north on Highway 75. Both vehicles went into the south bound lane of highway 75 where they came to rest. The driver and passenger of the Kia were taken to UNMC in Omaha for their injuries by Murray rescue. Driver and passenger of the Chevy van were checked out by Murray rescue and released. Driver of Vehicle 1 was cited for failure to yield. Both vehicles were towed by Sharp's Towing due to disabling damage.
