The Cass County 911 Communication Center is a critical hub for public safety, serving as the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for all emergency and non-emergency calls within Cass County's 566 square miles. The center serves a population of 25,241 and operates 24/7, 365 days a year. It is staffed by a dedicated team of 10 professional dispatchers and one supervisor, who are responsible for coordinating the response of various public safety agencies. These include the Cass County Sheriff's deputies, Plattsmouth Police officers, 13 Fire and Rescue jurisdictions, Cass County Medics, and the Cass County Emergency Management Agency.
