Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann advises on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at approximately 2:02 p.m., Cass County Sheriff's Office Deputies, Louisville Fire and Rescue and Cass County Emergency Management EMS were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover accident near the intersection of 120th and Highway 66, Louisville. The preliminary on scene investigation revealed a silver Chevy Malibu driven by a 39 year old male from Greenwood was traveling westbound on Highway 66 at a high rate of speed. The Malibu left the roadway to the north, corrected back onto the roadway, spun off the roadway to the north, went airborne over the roadway ditch, rolled over and came to rest in the cemetary. The male was transported to UNMC by Louisville Rescue for further evaluation. Seatbelts were in use and alcohol and speed are being investigated as factors.
