Cass County Sheriff, Robert Sorenson advised that on Monday, April 22nd  at 7:50 p.m., Cass County Sheriff's deputies along with Murray Fire and Rescue and Cass County Medics responded to a two-vehicle injury accident at the intersection of Highway 75 and Rock Bluff Road.

A white, Chevy Malibu driven by Johnny E. PERKINS (49 YOA) of Garland, Texas was westbound on Rock Bluff Road when he did not yield to the right of way traffic at the intersection of Highway 75, causing a collision with a northbound, silver Ford Fusion driven by Jaime IBARRA (27 YOA) of Omaha, NE. The vehicles collided and came to rest in the intersection of the northbound lanes of Highway 75 blocking the northbound lanes. Both parties were transported by Murray Rescue for their injuries.

Both vehicle were towed due to disabling damages by Sharp's Towing out of Plattsmouth. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor; neither driver appeared to be wearing seatbelt.

Accident investigation is complete.
