Cass County Sheriff Robert Sorenson advised that on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at approximately 2115 hours, a Cass County Deputy contacted a vehicle in the area of S. Garfield St. and East J St. in Weeping Water after observing suspicious activity. The driver was identified as Brittney N. Agena, 32, of Weeping Water. During the contact, a CCSO K-9 Unit was requested and responded. The K-9 detected the presence of illegal drugs. As a result, the vehicle was searched, uncovering in excess of 50 grams of methamphetamine, THC wax, marijuana, and associated paraphernalia.

Agena was arrested and booked into the Cass County Jail. She was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
