Cass County Sheriff, Robert Sorenson advised on 02/18/2025 at 11:05 p.m. deputies were summoned to Spyglass Ct, Buccaneer Bay regarding an abandon juvenile. The investigation determined a 15-year-old female was transported by her mother, Crystal Dominguez (31 YOA) of Papillion, Ne to a relative's residence at Buccaneer Bay subdivision, Plattsmouth, Ne.

A verbal and physical disturbance occurred between the 15-year-old and Dominguez outside the relative's residence. Dominguez removed the juvenile from the vehicle and locked the juvenile out of the vehicle and drove away. The juvenile was dragged by the vehicle a short distance, loosing her shoes. The weather conditions were recorded at -4 degrees. The juvenile sought refuge at a neighboring residence where the authorities were called. The juvenile was transported by Plattsmouth Rescue to Hospital for treatment for injuries and exposure.

Crystal Dominguez was located and charged with Felony Child Abuse and housed in the Cass County Corrections Facility.
