CORRECTIONS OFFICER
(Civilian Position)
$21.53/hr. - $27.60/hr.
If you are prepared to assume a significant role and effect meaningful change, we invite you to submit your application for the position of Corrections Officer with the Cass County Sheriff's Office. This non-sworn position primarily focuses on guaranteeing the safety, security, and orderly operation of the county jail. The officer will oversee inmate well-being and activities, conduct regular checks and inspections, enforce facility rules and regulations, and document incidents, all while collaborating with colleagues to maintain a controlled environment. QUALIFICATIONS: 19 years old+, High school diploma/GED, and driver's license. Requires completing a polygraph, personnel assessment, and medical exam, including a drug screening and background investigation.
